The latest issue of our GHC magazine (2/2025) has just been published.

In this issue, we focus on the connection between genetics and psychiatry. PharmDr. Ivana Tašková from the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital will explain how pharmacogenetics can help in psychiatry – i.e., how genetics can tell us which drugs will be most effective and at the same time gentlest for a specific patient.

Our laboratory, led by Mgr. Renata Michalovská, Ph.D., has prepared a case study on the deletion of the ATAD3 gene cluster in a family with severe lethal PHRINL syndrome. We also bring you an interview with pediatric cardiologist MUDr. Viktor Tomek from PRENET, who shared with us his experiences from his third year of prenatal cardiological care at this specialized center.
