Oncogenetics

Examines the level of risk for the development of tumor diseases

Breast and ovarian tumors, prostate cancer.

Oncogenetics deals with hereditary predispositions to the development of malignant tumor diseases. Approximately 5-10% of these diseases result from known mutations in genes involved in the body's defense mechanisms. Carriers of these mutations have a very high probability of developing tumor diseases during their lifetime. Individuals with confirmed highly-risky mutations in these genes receive much more thorough preventive care in specialized medical facilities, in comprehensive oncology centers.

Screening examination of variants in 4 genes predisposing to breast, ovarian, or prostate cancer.
